We aim to preserve and celebrate Togolese culture, provide community support services, foster social connections and professional development, and increase multicultural exchange. TCT strives to uplift and represent the vibrant, diverse experiences of Togolese immigrants and their families.

Our Roots

Many TCT members immigrated from Togo or have Togolese heritage connected to their parents or grandparents. We proudly embrace the distinctive music, oral storytelling traditions, cuisine, and craftwork that are hallmarks of our culture. TCT's leadership works diligently to maintain the welcoming, community-oriented spirit of our homeland.

Our community

From regular cultural showcase events to mentorship initiatives, TCT brings together Togolese individuals and families across Tampa for camaraderie and empowerment. We partner with business owners, religious groups, students, professionals and more to reflect the diversity of experiences.

Our Future

As we expand our programming, networking events, classes, and cultural education initiatives, our focus remains on community advancement in Tampa for years to come. We aim to foster professional development and pave the way for thriving Togolese-owned businesses. TCT provides networking opportunities for Togolese professionals from diverse industries to connect, collaborate and grow in their careers. We offer workshops focused on business development, entrepreneurship, financial literacy and professional skills training. Mentorship programs match experienced professionals with newcomers or youth to provide guidance. Additionally, we spotlight Togolese-owned restaurants, shops, and other businesses to increase visibility. Our annual Togolese business expo allows owners to come together, exchange ideas and increase their reach. These ongoing efforts create pathways to economic prosperity for hardworking community members as they leverage their talents. With TCT's multidimensional support, we envision a future where Togolese culture and innovation make lasting impacts on Tampa’s economic and social fabric. We proudly empower all members to enhance their livelihoods while giving back. Please join us in creating an enriching, uplifting community!.
